The health systems and philosophies known as Wild Goose (Dayan) Qigong and Chun Yuen Quan have developed over many hundreds of years. These traditional Chinese health skills are simple, natural and effective and can be practised any place, anytime by people of all ages and abilities. As students attest, they are ideal for integration into a busy lifestyle.
Qigong
Qigong (pronounced 'chee-gong') literally means 'energy work'. The practice of Qigong is about aligning energies, storing of Qi (energy) and allowing it to flow freely through the channels and acupuncture points. By using the breath and gentle relaxed movements, blockages and restrictions are released. As a result the body and, just as importantly, the mind, are able to function with a greater sense of relaxation, flexibility and strength.
Wild Goose (Dayan) Qigong belongs to the Daoist group and dates back over 1800 years.

Chun Yuen Quan
Chun Yuen Quan is a skill that originated from Northern Shaolin and then passed down through the Beijing Opera. This form has retained more martial qualities and is ideal for creating strong energy and fitness. It is very good for our health as it helps to make the body light, flexible, promotes good posture and it also helps to lift the spirit.
"Understanding and practising Qigong and Chun Yuen Quan means taking responsibility for your own health, empowering yourself to keep well in both mind and body." Belinda
